CFX_Query2File allows Cold Fusion to export a query to a text file using any character as a delimiter.

Using CFX_Query2File to export data from CF is extremely quick. Our own benchmarks on a Pentium III 733MHz powered Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database show over 26 million records being exported in less than 15 minutes!. Other benchmarks that we have completed have shown that CFX_Query2File can export files in excess of 135 Mb in under 23 seconds!!

CFX_Query2File is fully thread safe and uses its own internal locking mechanisms to protect a file from being overwritten by another Cold Fusion thread.

If you need to export large amounts of data to a file using Cold Fusion, CFX_Query2File is the way to go!

Users of CFX_Query2File might want to check out CFX_ReadLn, a freeware tag that allows rapid, random access to large files returning its results in a query for manipulation within Cold Fusion.
